Before I stumbled across Eric Thomas the hip hop preacher, I loved posting I love mondays on facebook just to get a rise out of the complainers. Facebook and other social media was filled with people who hated their start of the work week. I needed to see positivity surrounding my feed and the others around me. Mondays are a chance to start again, to kick the week off right and push for focus.
I want you to set 3 goals for the next 12 weeks. Can be finding new job, dating, money more money, starting a business, reading more, losing weight, and going to more social or networking events. Best way to start this journey is decide on the first monday how many workouts you will tackle per week, how many social events you will go to and how many jobs you will apply to weekly, etc.
I have personally tried to accomplish fitness goals by joining two different workout groups Camp gladiator and Title boxing. I promised myself to attend a workout a day for six days a week. I would attend two social events a week to keep up with friends and meet new people. I would send do a combination of blog posting, twitter, emails and direct phone calls to grow my business sales. I would track my success days by marking X on my calendars and eventually not breaking that chain for 21 days, 30 days, and eventually 12 weeks straight.
Setting goals, reviewing them weekly, and setting up a way to make sure you follow through is a way you can learn to enjoy mondays.
