Jo Koy knew that he would have to invest in producing his own show, after riding the wave on chelsea handler show for over 7 years. Chelsea handler got millions of dollars from the show while the guest outside of kevin hart received promotion for their comedy shows.

The problem is not people starting businesses with no money, but starting business with no ways to increase business lines of credit, business credit cards and private money in case things go wrong.

Selling requires you to speak with people or get others to speak for you. In the case of Jo koy he was willing to invest the money and speak for himself.
In my own company when leads were slow I turned to online sources, bandit signs, and car magnets to increase leads. Keep the pipeline full and keep selling.
