I have started businesses, worked multiple jobs at the same time, read 100+ books on the subject of finance, entrepreneurship, business, marketing, and networking. I created this website to help others who want to skip some of the errors by launching their business and personal life to new heights.
I attended East Carolina University for 5 years and started a coffee shop called Sunset Coffee across from Fayetteville State University. Three years later I was in Austin, Texas sleeping in a motel unable to acquire a apartment and applying for all the jobs I could get. It took over two months of sleeping a hotel and bouncing on couches. How does this happen? I earned a business degree, but clearly not a common sense one. From 2012-2014 I read over a 100+ business books, networked with hundreds of people in my new city, worked 2 sometimes 3 jobs at once in hopes of creating change for myself. I found myself spinning my wheels and still wasting money and precious time.
What was missing from my attempts was massive action. I was throwing spaghetti at the wall in hopes of making something stick. When I signed up for coaches, physical and financial my situation turned around. I had direction in where I needed to focus my efforts and how to use the knowledge I acquired from these lessons. In three months I establish 15 different streams of income, three online businesses, and becoming a Real Estate Agent/Investor.
Being accountable, stepping measurable goals, and FINALLY taking action turned the ship around for me. I started this blog in hopes of motivating others and sharing how you can skip some of the mistakes I hit along the way.
