why lifestyle design isn’t Horse ****.
What happens if you get sick?
what happens if you want to travel in 6 months?
what happens if you want a whole new group of friends?
a whole new life?
striving in 90 day increments to accomplish a new job, new friends, new relationship or new life is totally possible.
People can be PROACTIVE or REACTIVE.
One of my biggest fears was getting sick or injured again and no longer being able to “hustle”. I spent the past 8 months but most importantly 3 years building a business and systems of credit repair, books, courses and in general servicing people. It paid off I spent the past week recovering from a 1 hour that turned into 4 and 1/2 hours surgery with some critical moments. Unlike my appendix being recover without financial worry, and actually have my family in town to recover with.
when i hear people talk about gentrification thats a reactive stand. you should already own property in a neighborhood where it was 30,000 for a house, because THATS what you can AFFORD. Then when you want to move neighborhoods do so by buying another home in a different part of the city. People want to start out in a 400k or 1 million dollar home depending on your location and it doesn’t work that way.
Getting laid off sucks, but you should have a network of people you can reach out to for jobs or opportunities. Your linkedin profile should be updated. You should quarterly apply for jobs in higher paying positions or even talk with a recruiter. You make money in job raises and moving to different jobs.
Jump on eventbrite, meetup, or professional networking sites. I meet folks who get in COMFORTABLE slumps, just coasting along knowing they should be investing, traveling, dating, working out or doing “MORE”.
I challenge you to get off instagram and take a little bit of that life for yourself. You been researching for months and some folks even years its time to LIVE.
